Prop Layer ("we", "our", "us") is a desktop application that overlays real-time player stats and prop odds on sports broadcasts. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
Prop Layer is designed with privacy in mind. Specifically:
- No video data is sent to our servers. All computer vision inference runs locally on your machine.
- API keys stay local. Your Anthropic Claude API key and The Odds API key are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to Prop Layer servers.
- Waitlist email. If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address solely to notify you about product updates and early access.
3. Third-Party Services
Prop Layer integrates with third-party APIs at your direction:
- Anthropic Claude API — used for jersey identification. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- The Odds API — used for live prop odds. Subject to their own privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain waitlist email addresses until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We do not sell or share your email with third parties.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at Help@prop-layer.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist subscribers of material changes via email.

Website forms, analytics and interactive demo
Website additions updated October 2026. Early-access requests may include your email, sport preference, device and request for a recorded demo. Partnership inquiries may include your email, name, organization, area of interest and message. We use these details to respond to your request and provide the updates described on the form.
Forms are processed by Formspree. This website uses Google Analytics to understand site use and successful form submissions. Names, email addresses and form messages are not included in the custom submission event.
The interactive website demo uses fictional players and sample artwork. Your scene selections stay within the current page and are not saved to browser storage or sent to a product account. Older demo links may include a fictional player selection and image view; these contain no form information.
